Los secadores de recortes verticales se utilizan principalmente para secar sólidos de perforación que se encuentran en petróleo o fluidos de base sintética. Su objetivo principal es disminuir el contenido de fase líquida de los recortes de perforación dentro de fluidos de perforación a base de agua, aceite o compuestos, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares de emisiones ambientales.
