Inspection Visit Photos of Batch Mixer Sharing

Glad to share our joy that one of our important customers to visit our new plant for inspection visit, a innovated oilfield service company from Italy. Products we talked is batch mixer, it can be called mud mixing system as well. The important matters we discussed is inspection procedure.

Inspection procedure of batch mixer

NO DETAILS NO SUCCESS is our production guidelines, each set of mud system must be tested prior to delivery, not only the finished products testing, also the process inspection.

Take the batch mixer as sample, the raw materials must be tested firstly. Then the process inspection must be done during the production, including tank base, top shelf, side plate, tank body, stairs, guardrail, and painting. Each item has specific inspection points. Like the tank base. 1. length; 2. width; 3. height; 4. bottom sheets; 5. H -beam; 6. U beam; 7. welding. Welds must not have slag inclusions, air bubbles, cracks, and other defect. Only all these points are qualified, Then workers can go on nest step.

Equipment installed on the tank, like mud agitators, centrifugal pump, mud mixing hopper. Process inspection of them must be done as well.

Finished products inspection of batch mixer

The second important parts is finished products inspection. QC do this inspection based on above records. Whole mud system unit inspection including three parts.

a. Test run

b. Water leakage test

c. Pressure test

d. and Non-destructive testing

Please note that the separate equipment must be done test run as well. It operated after assembly. Only these equipment passed the test run, then it can be installed onto the mud tank.
